So I levelled up to VR 1 the other day. I'm now wondering if I made the right choice about my attribute points. I'm sorta feeling maybe i should have put some into health?

I'm currently a templer healer with 49 into magicka.

If you guys can give me any tips and or tell me if I made the right decision that would be helpful.

It depends on what sort of content you plan on doing, and what your total health is with food buffs and your gear enchants.

For the most part I wanna do dungeons, trial, areanas. the pve aspect first. I know Pvp builds differ from pve builds but right now focusing on the pve side of things.

Still learning about the food buffs. All my points are into magicka so not sure on what food buffs to get.

I just got to VR1 so i need to craft myself a full set of VR1 gear as I still have gear from level 30 and 40s and such.

Depends on your build. If you change your mind, you can always go to the shrine to reset and respec.

At vr14 you should have 20k hp for trial hardmodes, 18k for normal trials and vet dungeons. At vr 1 I'd say 15-16k hp should be fine, but it depends a bit on how you actually play your character.

Templars healers should feel comfortable with their health while doing dungeons and groups or solo . If you find you're dying too often, putting some into health might help and adjust. Keep in mind that many put everything into health and revolve their armor around stamina or magicka, whichever is lacking (pre v14). When you're at max level, you can readjusts and shoot for around 18 to 20k health for endgame. At this point, see what health and magicka level you feel comfortable with.

Alright thanks. So for VR 14 I should be shooting for 18-20k health and everything else towards magicka?

It is a guideline, yes (and this also include food health buffs). Some builds can accommodate much less health too . Keep in mind that as soon as you start gaining CP, each point spent increase the corresponding resources too, so more adjustments for you there . Good luck :)

As a healer, your best bet will be to use blue food that buffs your health and magicka. You'll get bigger buffs to those 2 stats than you would using purple food that buffs all 3 stats, and you shouldn't need more than your base stamina anyway.
