About Lycanthropy and Vampirism...

I understand you need to do a quest in order to finalize it but what happens if you get infected and DON'T do the quest be it to cure it or finalize it? Does it just go away after awhile on its own or does it remain in its infected stage until you do the quest?

There is a timer for it, whether you are bitten by another player or get infected. I believe it lasts for 7 days if I remember correctly.

If you do not do not finish the quest in that time period then you lose the infection.

I got WW bitten roughly 3 weeks before console transfer and didn't lose infection after about 18 days of doing nothing. I was looking at all my chars to get ready fro copy and I noticed he still had the disease... so I did the quest to have WW fro char copy.

Did they change it to online time? I hadn't played that guy pretty much at all for a month.

It could be traigusb14 because I noticed after using Soul Summon the 2-hour counter does not seem to run while the character is offline.
