eso mounts. XB One question

so ive been reading about the mounts and the speed, stam, and cap on them and cant figure it out, but if have the cheap horse and put stats into it will i have to redo it if i was to buy a panther or guar from the store? or do the stats from my horse automaticaly get thrown onto my cat mount. i hope that isnt the case but i just wanted to check before i got too into it

No the have change to "rid skills" which mean you will have same speed, stam and cap on all your mount BUT if you make a new char you will start from 0 on that char with stats on your mount

ok so like if i wanted a mount with massive carry cap i would like designate a toon to do that

or can you max out all 3 of the skills for them? sorry but ive looked half the day with no progress and im looking to upgrade

You are likely reading up on the old mount system.. Click video beginners guide in my signature and scroll down, I have a video explaining how mounts work now.

Long story short, the mount stats are now attached to the character. You can max out all skills (no more limit like you likely read) and all skills max out at 60. Let's say you have a character aewnes with a fully maxed out riding skills.. That toon can ride her guar, senche or horse.. And will Always have all those stats maxed out.. Even if that guar is brand new.

Now let's say you have another toon Lovia... She is brand new. She will have all the mounts available but they will not have those stats anymore. Lovia will need to level up her own riding skill

No problem im happy to answer you question

You can have 60 on all 3 riding skills and you mount will also change appearance as well.
