GUILD TRADER voice option.

I think it would be fun if within the guild chat channels, there was a guild trader area chat channel.
Hear me out.
Guilds could designate a guildie to work the mic pitching sales, offering deals, taking requests verbally. Like a real bazaar. Players that come close to the seller would be able to ask questions about merchandise to a store keeper without the player having to stand there all day promoting sales.

The designated mic worker would monitor the store mic channel from anywhere while customers would only have access within speaking distance of the NPC store keeper. Maybe for fun there could be a list of emotes the guild could make the store keeper NPC do.
Maybe the chat channel upgrade could be an add on for more ambitious or customer friendly guilds.

Having that manned, or womanned, 24 hours a day would be quite the challenge.

Not forced. It would be an ootion . I think you would see sales spike for the traders that could answer questions about products. Idk just an idea.

And I'm glad youre on PC as well. Lol. Console has more casuals and less try hards. Its a different community feel.

I think a better way to implement your idea, is to have a note we could edit when we list something. For example, I have a couple of rings I made with Kuta Glyphs pre 1.6 so they have a bigger amount of Fire Resist than you can get today. However people might not notice the amount of the resistance and not want to pay the price that I would charge. Not that I would sell them.

Or I could list a dropped set and say, "Great for Tanking" or "Good if your a Werewolf" or something like that. Have this note show up as part of the Tool Tip.

Ohhh that could be really cool. Not everyone knows that stuff and might benefit.

The voice operated kiosk would still be fun. Maybe less practical but fun.

Lol. A few furious forum skulks do not constitute everyone. The console version has a chance to be something fun and not so mechanical.
I hope zos leaves the text chat out.
But that's just me and all the people I come in contact with on ps4 area chat. Its not everyone, just all the people I have had the pleasure of chatting with in game.
Where do your opinions come from, the forum or from the main body of actual happy players.
