Something I would LOVE to see ESO use is a more advanced currency system. It's been a year and I know several players (myself included) who have a million+ gold.
I think implementing a copper, silver, gold system would be highly beneficial for a number of things including the economy, lore, and overall game experience.
As it would stand today gold simply becomes copper.
100 Copper pieces -> 1 Silver piece
100 Silver pieces -> 1 Gold piece
This would take my 1,000,000 gold pieces and give me 100 gold pieces. I think it would be so much more satisfying (Not to mention lore accurate) to pay 15 gold for that legendary VR14 piece of gear than it does paying 150,000 gold.
This would reduce inflation the ridiculousness of inflation for years to come
Please let me know your thoughts on the matter!
Nah, if they were to implement something like this it would have to be done like this:
1 platinum = 5 gold
1 gold = 2 electrum
1 electrum = 5 silver
1 silver = 10 copper
That's the way D&D programmed my brain for currency conversion between coins of different metals, and if they were to do it in any other way I'd end up very confused.
