High Elf Heavy Armor Plus Magicka

Hi. My character is a high elf. I was wondering if wearing heavy armor would effect my magicka in anyway. Or what type of armor would be best for my class. Thanks.

if your talking from a end game perspective, you can counter alot of the magicka problems with heavy armour. If you arent, then yes, heavy armour will make your spells cost more magicka and you will have less magicka regen. If you wanted to do a dps magicka build, try light armour. Its a bit squishy but you will have better magicka management.

You can alleviate the amount of magicka cost with using just 5 heavy and 2 light, with Champion points ( if any ) and also with innate class skills such as Endless fury for sorc, Debilitate for NBs, etc. with proper jewellery you can reduce it even further but yes, technically your magicka will be affected by the Heavy armor you use.
