This makes no sense at all

I'm on PS4 and i haven't gotten a group for any dungeons since the transfer. since we don't have text chat for party recruiting and only voice chat and also noticing i've never found a party with group finder at all.
every time i use in game voice chat i have to deal with screaming kids and people that are drunk.
how long will this sorta thing go on before the dev's add text chat to the console versions ?

finding people to group with for dungeons has to be the biggest pain of all things.

I honestly haven't had any problem with group finder, so this is strange to me. What level, and faction are you?

I'd assume that there is just noone useing the groupfinder to get a dps for vet dungeons. People who started on console won't be vet5 by now and people who got a transfer will most likely have friends or guildmates to group with.

I have a couple friends that started but it will take awhile til they are of level for dungeons :-/
and i just flat out refuse to make a new character and do all the work again right now.

Honestly, that's the issue PC players have failed to realize lmao.

There is nothing wrong with the group finder on PS4.

PC Transfers are usually way above everyone else, and there aren't a whole lot of them to begin with. Most transfered, seen that the numbers were low, so they started a new toon and began leveling.

False, there is a lot wrong with it. Both mechanically and with the fact that console players have no grasp of the holy trinity. I sit in que literally for hours as a healer with nothing. If I want a group, I have to go hang out infront of the dungeon and heal people who pass by, praying to god they will kick someone out of their group and invite me instead.

I think a lot of issues are caused by the fact that new characters are automatically assigned a DPS role and nothing else. I've been playing for a year, but I still found myself today joining as a DPS with my baby nightblade despite her being a tank (of course she can do both in early dungeons, but that's not the point). If people don't know they need to change the role, or even simply forget, they end up in a crowd of damage dealers and no groups.

See I agree, and disagree with you there. The problem you are having, is the same one I'm having, which was stated by Rosveen.

A. A lot of people don't really understand all of the features in the game just yet, especially if they never played on PC.
B. EVERYBODY get's selected as a DPS, and the vast majority of the people who actually DO que, don't actually change their roles to whatever they are spec'd as. Chances are, they don't really know what role they are trying to feel just yet.

May I ask, what level and alliance you are?
