nearly all quest npcs invisible...

so i decided to give this game another try and low and behold, it's unplayable of course

yesterday some of my quest npcs were invisible, so i restarted game and xbox but to no avail...so i logged off hoping it would be okay today

But today, almost every single quest npc is invisible, even the freaking prophet. I even tried to just start a new character, but even the character in the character creation is invisible!!!

All I can do is shake my head and hope I don't end up regretting buying this game again.

just tried making a new character just by hitting the randomize button despite the character being invisible, and when i log in the character created is not only invisible, but the camera is locked onto the floor

2 day and 5 quest I wasted my time with cause I cant see the NPC it says to talk to, It shows there name, say press A to talk but it wont.

Simply logging out, and going to dashboard and quitting the game itself, and then re-loading the game fixes this. Yes I know it's a pain but ZOS are aware of it and has been noted to be fixed on the next patch. I've suffered with this same issue a few times and can be annoying, but they are aware of it

An issue that has never been fixed since beta... Sometimes waiting long enough, they'll appear. Sometimes re-logging fixes it. Sometimes shutting the whole thing down and starting the game back up fixes it. The problem is that 'sometimes' is the key word here. You're expected to just look past the problems and enjoy the good aspects of the game.

Sorry but when I have even one NPC invis, I log out on the spot. Go to dashboard. Manually quit game. Restart.

Never had it not fix the issue.

People can either take a breathe and relax, try to fix it and move on. Or get really mad and come here.

Not even sure if your being honest. Or trolling. Since it happens all the time, take a screenshot and post it here.

In my experience when people say it "always happens" or "every ____insert word", usually it happens once or twice. But this is the first time I have heard the char for creation is invis. I'm on Xbox as well and have had my fair share of invis NPCs. But the fix takes one minute, and its not "every npc".

now when i try to log into my account i get an infinite loading screen, can't even get to character select....do i just have to uninstal and reinstal the game? I really don't want to have to wait 10 hours again for that crap

With ESO there are good days and bad days. Whenever I am just having too many crashes, errors, bugs, infinite loading screens or whatever else, I just call it quits for that day and go find something else to do. Try again tomorrow. This is a very enjoyable game to play when it lets you. It is not great enough to raise your blood pressure over, though.

Yep this happened to me today, I sent a ticket in and they got back to me straightaway telling me to log off to dashboard and wait a couple of minutes to make sure I didnt join the same phase. Worked perfectly as people above describe.
