Yeah, it's on PC. As well, we didn't have it when the game was first released either. It wasn't even added all that long ago.
Right now to move the camera you press down and pull down or push up on the right stick. Moving the stick left and right does nothing. They should simply allow the left and right movement of the stick to move the camera to the left and to the right.
Seems like a pretty simple solution. The code already exists to shift the camera left and right...
I'm sorry, these settings would just be too cumbersome for the average console player to traverse...

...On that note.. if you're planning on the argument "But PC has it!" then make sure you also argue that console has lootdrop and advanced inventory standard and we would need that on PC too

This. Such an easy fix. The only issue is the cursor then, as, if they center it with the current monster of a cursor it will cover half the character. A simple white dot would fix the issue, or option to switch off as red glow is plenty enough for seeing what youre pointing at.I'm sorry, these settings would just be too cumbersome for the average console player to traverse...
I dont even get the value of these "console player" comments. What was the point? I just came to this from 10years of pc mmos including endgame wow and wildstar etc and im having a ball on the console version of this and have found tons of skilled players. Sometimes its nice to kick back on your couch with your pad and be able to do your thing instead of being huddled over a keyboard at a desk. "The average console player" is a "gamer" same as you or me. Platform means nothing.

Besides center camera, if theres something that would make me happy seeing as you cant mod the console vers, damage numbers. Seeing your dps, bleeds, when you crit, knowing when things expire. It would add so much more depth to combat. Does the unmodded pc vers have numbers at this point in time?whiteshadow711jppreub18_ESO wrote: »I know right WTH, this should have been there day one with Text chat.. what were they thinking..
Text chat would just be..... Amazing at this point. Running dungeons with people who dont use vcomms, and communicating with guild and area would be nice.....

I'm in Australia and it's been out for less than a month.
It might be something they look at patching in in the future.
Fingers crossed!

I read the title of this thread and can agree.
It was the best thing ever when it was added to PC, and I was disappointed when I got on PS4 and found out that setting was nowhere to be found
@Anakee No, PC players do not get damage numbers. No numbers on our health bars etc. That is all addons. All I can tell for differences is..
Console has voice chat, PC does not
PC has text chat, console does not.
Console has lootdrop and advanced inventory (if we have autoloot on.. We don't get anything that pops up to tell us what we picked up. And like.. All our "armor" is in one big alphabetical tab, no "light" "heavy" etc)
PC has addons.. Console does not
Oh, we do have a (not really) handy part of our crafting menu (when at a station) to show what traits we know.. I couldn't find that on console
Oh, and of course the ui looks different.. And we have some graphic settings that console does not because its not needed (consoles are all the same, unlike pcs where some are better than others)
Of course, I may have overlooked some differences while I played.. So don't take this as set in stone
[Edit] and to the person that mentioned the reticle being over the character... Yeah that happens, you can deal with it, but its a bit meh.

All sounds good and yeah that was me with the reticle issue haha. One other thing which would be a godsend and im not sure if pc has it, locking items. Making them not appear when youre deconstructing. At this point in time its a complete brain fart if i want to have two sets, or save something in bank where im at a crafting station everything in my bank appears there and i have to intricately make sure i dont break the wrong thing. This can also be a nightmare and reaaaaaally suprising that its overlooked.

Hate to say it.. But nope.
There's an add-on for that though. (Oh, and there's an add-on for the reticle issue too)

Well damn. So far i feel like games 9/10 on the mmo front and i absolutely love it, but theres some very very basic mmo UI functionality and necessities which have been really passed by, which is a shame cos these few things would make for a VERY solid mmo experience, if not one of the best ive ever played, and this is the first true mmo ive ever played on a console without being behind my keyboard. Its still very young and if wow taught me anything after vanilla it can take years to get things to a level where 90% of the communities happy. I for one think all the QQ stuff in the eyes of most is fine ie, vet system etc. I love it that its a grind. But just some ui tweaks, and a lag fix would make me a very happy man. I have some vids of lag stuff ive experienced so far which are rather comical how bad it can be.
