A one time respec? It has been confirmed it will be there but also that it will be one time? Because unless they confirmed that I hardly believe they will offer it one time. It could be ofcourse, not denying that.

I play two accounts, and have a total of one character at v2.
Part of that is because I don't have a lot of time to play. Work. Study for NP exam. Work some more. Sleep. Occasionally (like once a week) play more than 30 min.

Your highest level is v2, therefore you still don't quite understand just how big a pain it is to level to v14. The devs changed major game designs that affected how some of us originally chose our character race. Just cause you don't mind repeating the same content ad nauseum doesn't mean most do. Also, it's not just about getting to vr14, there are all the achievements and research and crafting stats that take forever to get. At a certain point, rerolling is way more of a pain than it's worth.0 -

✭✭✭✭I understand that in a single player game, you buy "the game" which is pretty much a finished product. Some games will later have DLC, and many of the Bethesda games have mods.... enormous numbers of mods. Eventually more mods than original content (my sweetie plays Skyrim with a minimum of about 160 'must have' mods).
So if there are "changes" to single-player games they are likely to be things that are either adds from the company that don't much change the original game, or adds/mods chosen by the player that sometimes change the game a great deal - to conform it more to the liking of that player.
I understand in an MMORPG, things are never necessarily "finished". There are tweaks and changes and improvements and sometimes they are seen as a step sideways or backwards by the folks playing who would not have chosen such and so mod if it was a single player game.
Like the Justice system (phase one, anyway) some will love it, some will hate it and some will not really care.
And for the entire life of the game, things like this will be happening. Some sweeping changes, some minor. But things will not stay the same.
I understand that possibly in anticipation of this (or simply to allow multifaceted participation in the many choices available), ZoS has given every account 8 character slots. So if someone doesn't like this change or that change they don't have to "throw their old character away"; they can choose to play another character.
So when I hear people ... who know this is an MMORPG ... get bent out of shape because things have "changed" ... which is inherent to the genre ... I have only limited sympathy.
I suspect that part of what ZoS is learning from all these changes and player reactions is what sort of things will sell in the Crown Store - since it's B2P now, they have to make money.
Maybe you would pay for a race respec. I think the more people who would pay for it, the more likely it will show up.
Maybe others would pay for XP boosters so they can level more characters of the "right" or "best" or most fantabulously min/maxed combo. Clearly that would/did show up and it seems to be selling like gangbusters.
Same with pets. That worked for ZoS.
For me, I get that I will not like all the changes. I don't even PvP and (to throw out a recent upcoming change) the idea of disabling travel-to-friend really irritates the #$%# out of me.
I'm still waiting/hoping and occasionally suggesting that the crown store have a consumable that will level my favorite non-set drops to my level. I'd pay for that. Probably every 4-6 levels or so. Maybe if enough folks who wanted it spoke up, and ZoS thought it would make money, they might add it.
As for leveling a v14 ... seeing that all my XP on all my characters combined probably wouldn't even come close - I think that in my own way I can understand that it's a LOT of effort. On the other hand, I have no idea how we compare in hours spent in-game (since in terms of efficient leveling - I stink) or in enjoyment gained (that I think I do well in).
