ESO Crash During Intro Cinematic Trailer

I have contacted support with a ticket and are being extremely slow with getting back to me, so I thought I might try here.

I can get into the game via launcher and eso.exe just fine. I can watch (now I skip them from the userSettings.txt) the very beginning splash/clips leading into the login area. I then can login (If I put in a bad password it can recognize that) which leads into a black screen. Sometimes I crash there (probably at 0:00 of the clip) and sometimes I can get maybe a second into the cinematic movie prior to character selection/creation. I crash there with a "ESO has stopped working" popup. I have tried every fix I have seen with this: Change from D3D11 to D3D9 to OpenGL and back. Changed the thread amount and teams from -1, -1 to 0, 0 to 4, -1 and what not. I have run both the launcher and the eso.exe in administrator. I have also run both with windows XP service pack 3. I have repaired the launcher. My drivers are up to date. Heck, I have even optimized the game through NVIDIA's game optimization. I have also added allowances to my firewall and what not. Nothing works.

I am running Windows 8.1 and NVIDIA GTX 660.

Not a happy camper. Can anyone help me out here?

If you believe you tried everything you can think of and what support told you then there is only one thing left to do!

Time for a fresh install, backup your files, format the hard drive and start fresh could be something on system. Best way to really find out is by reinstalling system.

    I strongly disagree.

This is a brand new computer. I have several other games on here that work just fine. Also, I have never had in my experience or even heard of wiping and reinstalling your system actually working.

Whats the stats, because game works good on Win 8.1 Have 8gb ram Nvidia GTX 650, run at ultra setting give or take a few no need to edit anything other than stopping video at start so it just jumps right to login. Having no issues at all with game other than normal bugs that have been around forever. So seems like you done everything you could do other than reinstalling. If it's a program causing issues between it and ESO it will be hard to find. Or possibly a hardware issue but you say it is a new computer but they do come with bad hardware at times. So good luck.

Yeah but I have had this computer for about 3 months (hand built) and no issues thus far hardware wise. Let's hope the support team can help me out further. Thanks man.

Lets hope you don't have to resort to reinstall, believe me I know it can be a pain. Heck did two reloads today for people. They thought nothing was wrong with their systems either.

You can check for %temp% files in run, believe me seen that cause probs but yeah other games running good shouldn't be the prob. Hard to find problems on systems when it seems everything else is running fine. Why you think techs like us bang our heads on tables and go smoke so many cigs, walking away coming back to problem does help.
