How do you get to Cyridil for a quest?

I'm L18.

I'm doing a quest called KEEPSAKE. Its in Cyridil.

I know this is where PVP happens, but how do you get there for a quest?

Press L, select the second tab by selecting the second icon on top of the Alliance War window, then select a campaign, Blackwater Blade for non-veteran. Then enter that campaign and go get them

Sorry, I'm on a PS4. What does L do?

And you really have to go through all that to start a quest?

I though that once you started a PVP Campaign, you were locked into that campaign?

I've never played PVP yet, so I'm not sure how it works and why/how PVE quests are done in a PVP Zone.

There are no Cyrodiil quests you can pick up in PvE zones, you must have been to Cyrodiil before. Yes, you're locked to a campaign (sort of - you can pay AP to change it), but you can't walk to Cyrodiil, you must port there - through the campaign menu, not a regular wayshrine. That's what L opens, but it's a PC key and I don't know how to access the campaign list on consoles. It's probably somewhere in the main menu, take a look.

Then I don't know how the UI on console works, L is to open the Alliance War window, like the Inventory, Crown store, Group, etc... Maybe this could help you navigate and find that, or someone else will have to help you.

And yes it's like that in ESO to enter Cyrodiil, you first have to assign a campaign as your home and then enter it, only takes less than a minute when you know about it, but I perfectly understand it's not that logical before. Cyrodiil is a different instance than PVE, you can't just walk there, you are teleported.

Cyrodiil is a massive zone, the biggest in the game yet, so yes there's ton of stuff to do, including PVE, daily quests, dungeons, skyshards, little secrets etc...

You're obviously mistaken about not being able to pick up PVP quests outside of Cryodiil.

No.

Its called just KEEPSAKE.

The description says, "Find Slyvian's heirloom".

It's a level 17 quest. Its located in Cyrodiil.

If I look at the map of Cyrodiil, it shows the quest marker.

Could this be a bug? I've had thus quest since I hit around level 12.

Huh. That's the Cheydinhal quest. But I'm not mistaken, you can't pick these up outside Cyrodiil. Or at least you shouldn't be able to... Interesting! Do you remember how it appeared in your journal?

Nah, we just need to learn the console control scheme so we can still help new players. Though we could definitely use a console section for other reasons.

If you have never been to Cyrodiil........

The only way I can think of that you got this quest is that someone shared it with you........

Honestly unless they have totally changed the game mechanics you cannot pick up Cyrodiil PVE quest from outside Cyrodiil.

I am not being facetious, as I said earlier it is very odd.

It's definitely a bug, as that quest should only be possible to get from Cheydinhal. I think I've heard it turning up outside of Cyrodiil before though, very rarely.

Cyrodiil as a concept works a bit like this: it's a zone much like any other, but is much larger. It is the only zone where PvP is available, and there are a number of PvP-focused objectives to fight over. But there are lots of PvE things to do there too: 50 repeatable quests, which come from five quest hubs around the region, 25 or so single-time quests which can be found in the wilderness, 18 delves to delve into, 9 dark anchor dolmens, lots of materials to gather, 46 Skyshards to find, and dozens of Ayleid ruins and other places of interest to explore.

To get into Cyrodiil, you need to find the Alliance War part of the menu, which I think is a sub-section of one of the other menus.
