Easy, your a mercenary. You fight for whoever pays the best. Just bc you were born an imperial didn't mean you only fight for imperial clients. Let's say you choose the dominion, someone asks what an imperial is doing fighting for the high elves, you respond bc they pay the best at the moment

Based on the prices on PC, even now, he's not joking. I don't remember seeing one selll for less than 50k ever, and usually around 100k.

The Imperial motif has one of the lowest drop rates of anything in the game, aside from the complete version of the dwemer motif (if that one even exists as a whole rather than as pages - I've never heard of anyone ever finding it).

I'm pretty sure on PC I've never seen it sell for less than 100K, and I'm more used to seeing 200-500K asking prices for it. Given how much more expensive everything seems to be on console (due to it still being early after launch with limited supplies - the same thing happened at PC launch), I'd be shocked if you could possibly find it cheaper than 10X what you're hoping to spend on it.

No question is stupid my friend. Only assuming and ignore fact because one don't like it, is. :-p

Any container in the world, in all zones can drop an Imp motif. And any motif for that matter. They are just rare. Steal in cities and loot everything when you explore Tamriel.

Hey, we're all noobs at one point. There's not really any reasonable way you could have known just how rare the Imperial motif is. I seem to remember it took at least a month or two on PC before the community began to really understand how rare it is.

Kinda would be cool if he went around asking to buy the Imp Motif for 15k and some lucky new player got one...and sold cause 15k is huuuge at start.
