Whisper me in game and I will gladly explain what happens when a little boy dragon reaches age 13 and starts noticing girl dragons

If there were no dragons then how could dragons even start to exsist? Thus there were dragons in tamriel!!

    That's not how dragons work.

Dragons weren't born, they were created at the beginning of Time, during the Dawn Era. In this time period (Second Era), dragons are mostly extinct. Those that remain are in hiding.

Did you play Skyrim? Dragons weren't born in that game, they were revived after years of near-extinction.
  • DemisedNinja
The dragon in Cyrodiil sure as hell isn't hiding. Level 50 Daedric Titan (Dragon) is laying siege to the Imperial Island.

Not this Daedric Titan thing again. They are not dragons. Based on dragons, yes. But Molag Bal never learnt the secret of true dragons so therefore not a dragon.
  • DemisedNinja
Just personal opinion but just because Molag Bal couldn't learn the secrets of true dragons, doesn't necessarily strip the Daedric Titan the title of dragon. The first Daedric Titan was created from a dragon by making the bone structure mightier and infusing it with the blood of darkness. Regardless, you'd still yell dragon if it starting chasing you. Not like you'd stop and say damn dragon wannabe

FOR THE LAST TIME! NO DRAGONS!

No, but seriously. Read the lore of Skyrim and you will figure it out.

Why aren't there dragons in ESO?

All the dragons in the TES universe are at the time of ESO, the Second Era, "hiding" / buried inside mounds or tombs along with those who served them, i.e. the Dragon Priests (however, you do encounter Dragon Priests in ESO). In the Fourth Era dragons are given second life because of Alduin, the World Eater. You can read more here, and also here.

There are dragons still aliove that survived the purification. They are also not hiding. It is jsut that they didn't get caught. Dragons are territorial and have thier home on a high place where they oversee thier territory. Some have it such remote locations they have not been found by the dragonhunters. It is not really hiding, it's just that they happen to be in such remote place that they haven't been found and they don't have any desire to leave what they call home.

the dragons inside tombs and burial mounts are not among those. They are killed by dragonhunters and brought to live by Alduin in the fourth era.

The whole Titans are/aren't Dragons thing is currently ongoing in another thread, but here's a post from that thread that I agree with:

Not being sarcastic - genuinely putting it out there.

If they are, then Titans are Dragons. If not, then they aren't.

Personally, I'm good with 'they used to be Dragons'.
