Second weapon choice, argonian templar healer.

Playing as an argonain templar healer level 19, currently using restoration staff, not sure of a second option as a weapon would be not really interested in bows but this probably would be a better choice.

How about destro staff on your off hand or dual wield for the increase to spell damage.

Can you duel wield two staffs, i didn't know that was possible, ill give that a try.

Sorry for the confusion, but you cannot dual wield staves but if you use swords, etc. you will get an increase to your spell damage.

You're best off using a destruction staff on the second slot to aid in soloing/levelling up. I'd recommend an inferno/fire staff, as they tend to get the best damage and utility from the destruction staff skill line.

For your Templar I would highly recommend a Frost Staff as a secondary weapon. Templars lack AoE CC effects, frost staff can give you a massive 60% snare AoE and has a 28ft Single Target root ability (destructive reach) which also interupt some ennemies telegraphs.

When chased in Dungeons, that extra CC will realy help you kite ennemies and also help your tank hold aggro from those

I also run an argonian templar healer, Currently level 45.
I have found a destro staff is a good 2nd bar weapon for damage but the abilities do not mesh well.
I have found that a lightning staff in combination with radiant oppression puts out really nice DPS. Flame staffs are typically more useful but the lightning staff puts out a steady DPS rather than a burst.
