Hey guys. So I be crafted a maple bow. All good no worries.... Now however I've moved on to oak. I refined all oak so now I have 43 pieces of sanded oak. I have the right style and I am at level 4 however it won't let me craft any oak items as it says I need to be woodworking 2.
Am I missing something and being dumb or is anyone else having this problem ?

✭✭✭✭✭You need to upgrade your Material Passive to allow you to use Oak. You do this in the Skills Window, Woodworking.
However, until can use Oak, which is Level 16, it is really a waste to assign the material points early. Unless your crafting for a higher level alt or other player. I only say this as skill points are precious for the first 35 to 40 levels and you should spend them on things that can help your character right now.
Also, your get way more Inspiration from deconstructing items and research than you do for making items, so making higher level items does not gain you more inspiration.Edited by Nestor on June 19, 2015 7:46PMEnjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

You said L4, so I assumed you character level. I don't think you can unlock Oak at L4 in Woodworking.
Decon some stuff, you will get there pretty quick to the level you need to unlock Oak.
Hint L20 is smack dab in the middle of the range where you need skill points bad because of the skills and morphs and passive that are unlocking around that level, and don't have that many SPs to spread around. So keep that in mind as you spend points on Crafting skills.
