Do you need to be at the Vampire Shrine? Or can it be done anywhere?

Once the bite is done, I heard that the guy to kick off the Quest appears at *blah* Wayshrine. Is there a specific Wayshrine, or will any Wayshrine do?

When recieving the bite from another player, you need to be in front of the vampire shrine. The quest also starts at the shrine. (you need to interact with the shrine).

The part bout the npc approaching you at a wayshrine is only when you got bitten by an npc.

(small note, on the pc, in AD, the quest is a bit bugged. It appears at the other side of a hill while you really have to interact with the shrine)
