Crafting writ timing

I had read that the time between being able to do crafting writs was 20 hours, but that doesn't seem to be the case. It seems to be either 24 hours or is available at 2:00 am eastern time.

Was the timing changed or something?

The only thing I know of that has ever been on a 20 hour timer in ESO is mount training. AFAIK the writs have always been a once per day thing, resetting at some arbitrary time (I say that because I'm not actually sure what time they reset - probably the same time pledges and Cyrodiil dailies reset) rather than requiring you to wait a full 24 hours from the time you last did them.

I have never seen it other than 24 hours but most of my hirelings are on 12 hours now so maybe I'm not paying close enough attention on the one that doesn't have T3 unlocked on her crafts.

For me, new writs become available at 8 a.m. (Central European Summer Time) every day, which gives me just about time to take new writs and turning the easy ones in before leaving for work. This is independent of horse and hireling timers.
