yep, i'm 50, and once i was scholar english was not a priority in italy. i just learn it a bit travelling, watching video and navigating internet. i'm not going at school anymore, could be usefull, i know, but i don't have the true necessity, other then when i play eso, that is the only game i have in english, all the other are in italian languege.

It works pretty well for me. It is not perfect but It should work pretty well since you go from english to something else.

It works pretty well for me. It is not perfect but It should work pretty well since you go from english to something else.

The Google translator sucks as hell. If I had no knowledge in English at all, I would embarrass myself constantly if I'd rely on their translations. It CAN work for single words, but rarely for a whole sentence.
So often it happens that when I have to translate something to see if the word I want to use is correct, I get nothing but a mess. It's like the translator goes from German over French over Chinese over Swedish and a hundred other languages to English, there's nothing left from the original meaning of the sentence or even a word. Not always, but way too often.


@BurtFreeman You could try this translator: http://www.linguee.it/italiano-inglese (I changed it to your language already^^). When I don't know a word or what it means within a sentence, I use that one (but German-English) since you get tons of translation examples from many different kinds of texts and sources, so it's much easier to find out which is right. I hope it helps
