Anybody get extra crowns for no reason ?

Ive been trying for days to figure this out, im not alking about the eso sub which gets you 1500, Basically this is what happened, i sub and get 1500 crowns, bringing my total to 2000, then i buy the ordinator pach which i think was 1000, next day i log on and find 2500 crowns in my account. I bought digital from xbox store and im pretty sure they werent giving out extra crowns with purchases. Im desperate for any info on this, i'd like to spend them but what if i get banned because they werent supposed to be there, mabye ZOS made a mistake and gave me too many for my sub.

Has this or something similar happened to anyone else ?

I did! It took four days for my original 1,500 to show up and then two days later an additional 1,500 showed up.

I got an extra 1500 deposited after the server outage on Monday if assumed it was in way of an apology .

Same here and am also apprehensive to use them incase I get asked to pay for them/banned.

I have asked a friend and he didn't get any.

No, just started playing on xbox about a day after release, this is my first and only account with zenimax. What should we do ? Are we able to spend them or do we need to wait ?

I got some from the game store for pre ordering the game, I didn't even know the game store was offering them, I just stumbled across the email from them.

I know you said they weren't offering that in your post, but I wasn't aware of mine.

I had 1100 crowns in my account on xbox one the other day. I purchased the eso premium and instantly received my 1500 crowns putting me at 2600. I then purchased the digital imperial edition taking me down to 500 crowns and then when I logged back on after the server maint. I had 2000 crowns. lol I was boggled by this but I enjoyed spending them all the same. I purchased one month and have so far only been charged the initial price.

Yeah on day one I bought eso plus. Didn't get the crowns until there first maintenance. Should have been a total of 2000. But when I logged on I had 3500. I thought it was reimbursement for the delay

Exact same thing happened to myself AND my friend, 3500 total when we should have only had 2000. I figured it was Zeni being nice LOL

Sorry for bumping an old topic...but was there any final comment about the "free" crowns?

It's happened to a few guild mates, myself included, over the last few days.

All PS4 users, no PC transfers.

I subbed a few weeks back - one month, got the crowns, sub expires at end of month, auto-renew cancelled....but now I have 1,500 crowns I didn't purchase, and wasn't expecting.

They will not ban you or charge you for using those free crowns as it is an error on their part... Now if you exploited the game some how to get extra crowns im sure the ban hammer would fall for that

I have a friend that got the CE Treasure Maps twice. Got them when they first started the game on day 1 and then got them again about a week ago in the mail.

your friend got the ce treasure maps probably from upgrading to imperial edition... The same thing happened to me ... got the CE maps once for getting the tamriel unlimited game and again the same maps for upgrading to imperial edition. so it was a legitimate mail delivery more than likely.

I was charged twice back in July. And received 3000 crowns. I did not chose to buy those 1500 extra crowns. But they took my money and gave me crowns. Oh well I got frost mare because of it.

I think they should start advertising eso+ as possible chance to get crowns as it's misleading I haven't got any crowns in months and when I contact the help desk they give me things to do like clear blu ray player cache...

Just a guess: Because those have two accounts (PC & Console) linked to one account (the game account), they get double crowns.
