It's usually 10k gold. But I'm more interested in getting armor that I can use.

ya my highest level char is 25 and I only got 3k after buying pack upgrades, wanting to get the bite on my low level Sorcerer so I can level as a vamp. I'll give you all I got though. Was hoping I could get biten for free though

Can't really be a vamp until higher levels (30's)

I thought you could be on at low level? Seen videos of even level 10's doing the quest (lots of kiting)? Am I missing something?

I got bit and did the mission at level 7. All the guys will be level 38 though.

I did it at level 8, using a staff and a bow from long range really helps.
