Mounts no longer have any stats at all. Each character on your account has riding skills, for speed, stamina and capacity. Those skills will apply to any mount you ride. You gain those skills by paying the stablehand.

In short, mounts are purely cosmetic. The stats come from your character.

This is such a fantastic change from the old way of doing things with mounts.

Um- Um- I got my Nightmare by facing a Calvary of Daedra and being scared out of his whits, Realmreaver punches the horse in the face causing the rider to fall on his own sword and die. The horse thought it was hilarious how pathetic his master's death was and simply allows my char to ride it in gratitude for the chuckles.
