Sick of the "Pay X amount for a bite" nonsense

s0ulBrandon
First and foremost, what's up Dames and Bros! Big fan of Elder Scrolls in general and playing ESO on the XB1 has not disappointed (thank gawd)! Been playing as much as possible since XB1 release, and I'm loving my lvl 24 High Elf/Templar. I've obviously been trying to make my Templar the best in the Dominion, and the topic of whether I would be a Werewolf/Vampire came up. As i looked into the skills, factored in the pros and cons, I decided Vampire was the way to go! So I looked up how to turn, the moon transitions, the locations to get bitten, everything I needed in all of 15 minutes.

That was at 5pm EST yesterday.
By 6:30pm, I was infected with Vampirism.

Now on to the topic:
Every forum, board, site I go on to look up information on how to be better in the game i find this:

"Need bite, will pay"
"Selling bites for X amount"
"Please help, need bite ASAP"

Even in game, while I was waiting at the spawn there were the same difficulties that everyone talked about:

"OMG, they're killing the mobs"
"Did it spawn here, or at the other location"
"I don't want to wait, I've been waiting for y amount of hours"

And I'm here to tell you this:
IT IS NOT IMPOSSIBLE.

Trust me I wasn't "Lucky", the mobs that spawned were still killed by those guild people trying to capitalize on selling bites, and I still had to then figure out and complete the quest (lvl 39ish) myself.

But you know what? I APPLIED MYSELF. I did the research, and I PLAYED THE GAME! Why waste your gold (or even irl cash which i heard offers for ) on something you can earn literally just like i did? Funny enough the Vamp skill line actually levels ridiculously slow if gained early because its meant to be a lvl 40+ skill line (WW can level super fast in comparison but the skills don't fit my build).

Then on the opposite end, you have the scumbags that ported their characters over with a bunch of guildmates basically taking the fun out of the feature in a game by trying to take advantage of newcomers. What a freakin welcoming community. Instead of helping, instead of guiding (unless apart of the guild of choice), the first option is to take what you can get from everyone. And these people are the "Veteran players" don't make me laugh. I'd rather you guys have stayed on PC if this is all you are good for and let those who decide to apply themselves then assist the other players who do need some help.

But to both of you groups, whether your on the side begging or the side trying to take advantage need to get your sh*t together.

To those looking to apply themselves, create some bonds, play this awesome game, hit me up on XB1, send an invite and lets play or even if you want to ask some questions I'll help out as much as I can. I might not be a "Veteran player" but I promise I'm better than those baskets of douchery trying to take your gold.

Give it a little bit and you wont be able to sell them anymore. PC its pretty hard anymore to get money for a bite.

I know that, but I just hate people trying to take advantage of others.

People are actually looking to be paid to give someone a bite? like with in game money?

Do not forget trying to buy any service or item in the game with real life money will get your account banned.

So you're complaining because people are playing the way they want to, trying to make a profit the way they want to, and exercising their freedom to make their own choices with their money and time? I think it's possible that you missed the point of an open world Elder Scrolls title.

People stop paying these *** and it will disappear. Or people need to start offering free bites. My old guild on pc did that. We despised these idiots and we're offering free bites in any thread saying they were selling them.

This will not stop until ZoS takes a firm stance against it and start heavily deleting these threads! The problem ZoS has right now is they do not need community helpers (even thou it is good in long run) but a mod that don't move or close threads but delete these type of threads away. In long run people will get the point. Also week ban for posting any type of cash sales for bites let alone anything else in game.

Sad part is they are still way over their heads (heck just one megaserver would be a pain, now they have 6) with multiple problems facing them, and we could be a good year away from any type of real content for any of us.

Personally I will more than likely never get the bite from Vamp or WW. At least not on my main, in fact if any of you are a Vamp or WW it is my Imperial duty to kill you.

@s0ulBrandon If you plan on PvPing in Cyrodiil then there is absolutely no downside to being a werewolf (You get a passive 15% to stamina regen). Can't say the same for vampire however.

I don't see anything on the market from Zenimax that looks like PTW, and if that's your perspective I see there's nothing more to discuss since you can't see past yourself.

ZOS wouldn't need to interfere if the community decided to not be *** and settle all quarrels in Cyrodil. Are they that scared of us console players that they don't want us to get ww or vamp?

And if you're an imperial, hope i catch you in Cyrodil too.

No, I'm complaining because people are taking advantage of how the rest of the community would want to pay by camping a mob, which affects whether you get a skill tree or not, and then attempting to make people pay for it and not allowing them to get it for themselves. Let alone they mostly came from PC, and are now taking advantage of players playing the game for the first time. Then secondly complaining about the subject about people begging for things they can do themselves

I think it's possible you missed the point of the whole post.
