1k crown for 5 hours of xp boost ?! I have a subscription so my monthly fee is worth only 7.5 hours of boost each months ?! Is this a joke ? Greed never knows when its time to stop ... Prices would be less insane I d even be tempted to buy extra crown. As it is I ll just buy nothing. Think about it.

Don't forget that you are also getting 10% extra xp from your sub, which stacks with the XP scroll boost.

The Asian MMO market caters toward 'whales,' a tiny subset of players willing to spend many thousands of dollars on a game. Those whales provide most of the revenue.

TESO may be leaning in this direction. They may not be interested in the player willing to spend an extra $20 per month. They're focused on those willing to spend $500 or more every month. I scooted out of another game, Archeage, when I realized that the top players were spending far in excess of even that.

This whole industry is going nuts.

Actually, their prices, compared to other games with a similar in-game store model are very affordable and not nearly as over priced as you claim.

"XYZ Game" In Game Store Currency Packs:

    $200.00: 20,000
    $100.00: 10,000
    $50.00: 5,000
    $30.00: 3,000
    $20.00: 2,000
    $10.00: 1,000
    $5.00: 500

With "XYZ Game", you may look at these and say to yourself, "That's really not all that bad. I'd love that!", however. Looking at the majority of the items available in the game store, you're forced to spend $15.00 for one, single use item. The item costs 800 currency, but you have zero. So either spent $15.00 for 1,500 or $20.00 for 2,000. Yeah, I'll go with the $20.00 package. But wait, you're left with 500 currency. You look at the other items. You're now 100 currency shy of another item....

ESO In Game Store Currency Packs:

    $39.99: 5,500
    $24.99: 3,000
    $14.99: 1,500
    $7.99: 750

Now, you may look at these, compare them to "XYZ Game" and go, "I like the former much more". But you may also be forgetting that, while you don't enjoy paying $15.00 for one, single use, 1 hour XP Boost Potion, that $15.00 can be used by anyone else to purchase several, not just one, item from the Crown Store. The prices on the items are comparable to that of the currency packs you can purchase, so you're not necessarily having to purchase multiple packs for one item (exception would be Nightmare Courser, but even then, if you subbed for at least one month, wait until your next set of 1,500 crowns kicks in and you're gold).

In the end, I know this is really just one mans opinion and to each their own, but maybe looking at the bigger picture would help you understand the current model and why it really is affordable and reasonable. After all, all items in the Crown Store are convenience and cosmetic. "Convenience". If it's not "convenient" for you, don't buy it.

Well if this is too much they will know right away. If it doesnt sell then they will be forced to lower the price. If it does sell then hey more power to em. Ill just use the ones I craft.

If people don't buy stuff off the crown store then they will lower the prices. I agree that everything is overpriced.

I think you will give in. In three days after it lands in cash shop. Four at best. You friends will outexp you and leave you behind. Worse, your enemies will too. You have no choice, you must buy exp boost. Now! You just need to give in.

I think your right its 10h, so 15 h equivalent for the monthly sub. Nevertheless its just too expensive and I still think its bad pricing policy. Time will tell if am right and if they have to lower their price.
