Have you checked the guild traders? I've noticed that they are selling a butt load of recipes.

You can buy either the recipe or the finished product (Green not the White Dropped items) in most Guild Stores.

Since the Provisioning Writs will ask you for the same 3 Foods and 3 Drinks 99% of the time, buy stack of the finished items if you go that route.

Late to this party, but I've got a stack of the carrot soup by itself, and it isn't clearing that as meeting the requirement for the crafting of the recipe. Whyyyy oh why is this (and for that matter, golden lager) so hard to come by?

I abandoned this writ after two months of trawling guild traders and asking guild mates , do yourself a favour and do the same mate . It's not worth the effort , you are better off getting another writ and getting up to those higher level writs sooner . I have found the golden lager but after finding /buying over 200 recipes it still eludes me .

carrot soup is a lvl 1 food, you'll find the recipe on the starters islands.


same for chicken breast, backed apples/potatoes, grapes preserves, bananas, red rye beer, golden lager, fishy sticks and some others
