Apologies if this is in a thread already (if it is, mind pointing me there?). I didn't realize there was an expiration on transferring characters from PC to Console. I've been waiting forever for the console version to come out and I've been an ESO member since April 2014... Anyway I can execute the transfer still and get a discounted console game? Thanks!

    Hey @Storm_Beast.

    Unfortunately the character transfer window ended around late May and if you did not purchase the discounted game and character copy before the deadline then there is currently no way of purchasing it now. If you wish to play the game on console you will have to buy it at the full price.

    However it is worth noting that even if you buy the game on console you will not have any of your PC characters or items transferred over, it will be a "blank slate" as you did not purchase the account copy.

    So for now, the answer is no unfortunately.

    I'm so sad that I just noticed there was an expiration date on the transfer promo a couple of weeks ago. Customer service basically says "Too bad. Too sad." But at least they are polite about it.

    I'm trying to convince myself its worth buying the game AGAIN.

    Honestly, I hope that they open up the character transfer for everyone.

    As someone who played PC version since beta, solely because I wanted to be able to play while the console version got delayed... and delayed... And delayed, i would be okay with it.

    I think that having a good month or two early access to transfers is enough of a reward for having been loyal during the delays. Would I be pissed if everyone got to transfer at the same time, maybe a bit. Would I be pissed if everyone got the chance to transfer after a short amount of time, nope.

    Console is where its at and I am 100% more happy with the game on ps4. Everyone should be able to experience that, for a cost ;).
