Can't Find Imp Stool Anywhere!

I need to craft some Ravage Stamina for a writ and so far I have 10 luminous russula, but I can't find any imp stool anywhere to make the potion. Ive been looking for something to combine with the luminous russula for 3 hours. Help!

There is an area in south Eastmarch with lots of shroom spawns, but it really a matter of getting lucky. A shroom node will spawn any type of shroom at random, so make a note of any you find and re-visit them. I find Namira's Rot to be the rarest shroom, and it's also the most useful so stock up on any you find.

Mushrooms are found near trees mostly, sometimes near cliff faces and other areas that are in "shadow".

Keen eye can help with finding this.

Also, since mushrooms typically make potions that are not useful (poisons) they sell pretty cheap in the guild kiosks.

Since Ravaging Stamina Potion has become a standard requirement for Alchemy Writs, the 4 mats that will make it have become more costly and difficult to find.

BTW: Ravaging Stamina Pots can also be made with Emetic Russula and Stinkhorn in combination with Luminous Russula. not that they are any easier to find!

I have a decent supply of mushrooms, but I have been not picking them for the past few weeks. Have to start picking them up again.

Go back to places where you found Russulas. Make a farming route and pick them all up. Eventually some of them respawn Imp Stool. Fungi nodes spawn random fungus and flower nodes spawn random flower. The more you pick the "wrong ones", the better chance you have to get the right ones. Not all nodes are random though. Some plants are fixed like Water Hyacint.
