Dungeon Helm sets RNG

So me and some guildies have been non-stop running dungeons the last week and have 0 helms 0 shoulders. I myself have run hundreds of dungeons and got nothing at all, what's up with this? Why are some people getting them more often than others? I really didn't ever want to have to put a bad post here, i can live with lag and crashes and that side of thing but when RNG is OBVIOUSLY working for some and not others it pisses me off.

So I'll ask the community, a weeks worth of keys and no shoulders, is that normal?
10-20 dungeons a day and no helm drops is normal?

If it is, fine I'll keep going but I'm starting to think they just don't drop for a select few people.

In theory you might never see a single shoulder or helm. Unless they "fix" the RNG by some sort of correction mechanism. I don't know exactly what the chance is to get one of those pieces, but if it were 1%, that doesn't mean that by the 100th try you'd have one for sure. It means that each try you have a 1 in 100 chance of getting it.

What I did with the shoulders was accumulate gold keys as I leveled up my VR characters and open the chest only when I reached V14, since the char level determines the level of the shoulders. I had 50+ keys on one character and got quite a few shoulders. Felt like more than 10% drop chance for sure, but I don't have the exact numbers and in any case it's just my experience.

As for helms, I can tell you I had to run vet CoA probably over 50+ with two characters until I got my very first. The Spawn of Mephala was equally hard to get. But I kept getting Bogdan and Bloodspawn hats...

The first month Undaunted came out I didn't get a single helm or single shoulder. The other day I got three Blood Spawn helmets in a single night, so... the RNG is a brutal mistress. You never quite know if it's going to be in your favor.

I was already V14 when the keys and the sets were introduced so saving them up isn't really worth it but i understand the logic behind doing that. there are people that constantly get helms and shoulders, it's easily noticeable, so why are some of us getting nothing?

Is everyone in your group within 4 levels of everyone else? If not. There's your problem. Loot damage ratios blow with wide range variety groups.

All of us are V14, it's only the dungeons we are struggling with. In PVP when doing the containers to get those sets we get them so RNG is working, just not for the dungeon sets. I was wondering if we were doing something wrong but were not, just dungeon RNG doesn't exist for us, well me atleast.
