Well, I haven't even begun it yet so this might be an entirely naive post, but from the patch note description alone, good job ZOS on integrating multiple areas of the game and skills to make the XP potions (shouldn't they be called anything but 'potions'?) interesting to make.
1) For the first time I have a reason to fish.
2) Investing in a crafting skill now has more than a token meaning or a means of making a living (though that's still involved).
3) Multiple steps make building the recipe sound fun. I'd prefer every single recipe go through this trial, myself.
4) Daily writs (provisioning at least) now have more meaning.
So now we just need to
1) fix the recipe crash,
2) never ever sell any of these steps or items on the crown store (not holding my breath but I can dream), and
3) integrate some minor reward system so it's not 100% rng whether you get Perfect Roe, etc., but that you increase your rng odds the more you do,
4) decrease the excruciatingly long time it takes to wait for one fish,
and we're good to go!
Slight sarcasm aside, thank you for building something intriguing, multi-stepped, and task-based into the game again. I appreciate it.
