They only talk about "full pre-launch coverage". Basically what we had so far ("Yeah, working on Imperial City, it's coming soon") was the "half pre-launch coverage". The Art Department is not being pulled from their work elsewhere to do the work on mounts. Had they done these mounts, added them to the game without offering them in the store. You and he wouldnt be complaining. Youd be praising them. It would be nice if it was actually part of the game, like a quest reward or similar. Having content that's actually integrated into the game-world to give it a little more meaning/context would be nice. The developers went on so much about 'immersion' in the beginning and how important they felt it was to the core of the game. But it feels a little more of that ideal gets bled away seemingly with every bit of new news...
But yes, I'm sure it will be just another addition to the Crown Store.
I have to agree this is one thing I dislike about F2P games. My first F2P game was Sword of the New World (which actually started out as subscriber in the US). Originally, a lot of their bought features had a story to them, but over time as they became free to play and released more content the story just fizzled with that content. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.***Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
