Where do I get leather scraps?

Where can I farm leather scraps to make lol 26-36 medium armor?
What monsters do I kill?

Animals that look like they could give you leather + deconstruct medium armour.

Probably all different types, but I believe my supply mainly came from wolves..and they are pretty much everywhere. Its just a matter of killing the right level wolves.

Rivenspire, the giant bats are a good source in DC. Not sure about the other alliances but look in the third zone (not counting the starter islands.) I always had out-leveled leather by the time I found it; your best bet is to get it by deconstruction.

That's wierd, try in Eastmarch.

Run the beaches killing the appropriate level mud crabs they all drop leather.

I seem to get leather straps from just about everything I kill...that has skin. (lol)
