Need to get to The Rift

I'm currently with the Daggerfall alliance and looking to get to the Rift at a low level so I can get the ball rolling on the vampire aspect of the game. Well I can only make it as far as Bangkorai. I hit gates on the two roads that lead into the next zone.
Does anyone know of a way to get to The Rift on foot from Glenumbra?
Or better yet can anyone that is currently in The Rift let me group up with you so that I can travel to you. That would give me a teleport and spawn point and I can go on with my mission from there.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

The rift is in the ebonheart pact, you are in the daggerfall convenant. While you will reach the rift at the veteran levels, it will still be a different copy of the map then someone allready there. Further. while playing and levelling, you will go through bangkorai. That map is in the daggerfall convenant and will offer the same mechanics to become a vampire.

Keep in mind that obtaining a vampire bite from an npc is very hard in general, but even harder if you are low level. It is possible to find a fellow player to escort you to the shrine and bite you, but cause it is still very rare on the consoles and cause they can only bite once every 7 days, it is hard to find such a player, and most will charge you a lot of money (or even worse scam you).

Although I'm a big fan of vampirism in ESO, it is not easy to be a vampire in the game. Your dps is higher, but you are also much more vulnerable. So it is actually not wise to do it on your first character at low level. Better to wait. The dissease will be more widespread, making it easier.

Also, you can't walk directly to riften from glenumbra (but you can walk to bangkora, that is the daggerfall place for getting vampirism). To get to riften you need to reach level 50. play through the main story while you level. At level 50 finish an instance for the main story and beat a hard to beat boss. Then play through all 5 maps in the Aldmeri dominion. Do all quests there to finish something called Cadwell's silver. And then go to the ebonheart pact. Trust me...it is a lot easier and better to become a vampire in bangkorai (although that is still hard to do at this stage in game on the consoles)

Ranique is correct. Offering a second voice so you know you have the right info. You cannot travel to another alliance until you have finished the main quest and started something called Caldwell's quests. For DC, that means AD alliance will be your Silver Zone and EP will be your Gold Zone. You have to complete Silver quests before you can get to Gold. Level doesn't matter, though you may find the going tough if you are way under leveled. If you want to be a vampire, you need to do that in Bangkorai. I'm not sure if you can even get the bite in the Caldwell zones once you do get there.

Level does matter for getting the final quest of the main story. I allready had some doubt that it is at level 50 and looked it up, but "the prophet" summons you to the harborage at level 45 to do the final quest of the main story (if you've done the prerequired quests of the main story). After that, level doesn't matter any more indeed.
