[CONSOLE] Asking [PC] A Question About "Notes"

Hello,

I am a Console Player and I have a question for the PC Players.

Under "Guilds" if you look at "Ranks" then "Privildges" it has listed "Read Member Notes & "Edit Member Notes".
However I see no way of making, nor reading, nor editing said "notes"
Is this just something else (Like Text Chat) that PC has that was (partially) taken out of the Console version?
Or, is it something that you need a huge guild to access...like most other things seem to be?

Grrrr...can't edit the first post in a thread...

One of the guilds I am in has 200+ members, and I still see no "notes" anywhere.
So, this is why I am so confused.

Notes are on each person in the guild roster. You or someone else have to add the notes (and have permission to do so) before you'll see them

Okay, thank a lot, Man.
I just went in after reading your post and looked in the guild I lead (So I KNEW I had permission.) and I see what it/they do now.

But...what is the real purpose of them?
I can see if somebody is looking to do a certain activity, using it as a way to post it to all the guild members, but...
If a member is allowed to "edit notes" does that mean they can edit evry member's notes, or just their own?

For instance, if you're in a huge trade guild and you'll be going on vacation for two weeks they can put a "note" saying you're on vacation and will be inactive until a certain time.

Also if you are in a Guild that has an Crafting focus you can make a note of who crafts what... or keep track of disciplinary measures... or RP items.

All in all it is a nice little system.

Not sure on that one. My assumption is that it allows someone to edit everyone's note. Might want to reserve the permission for the higher ranks of your guild and just have the lower rank members request to have their notes changed when needed.

Yeah, that does sound handy.
I was hoping there would at least be some form of "Guild Wall" in the game...since the lact of Text Chat.
This at least almost functions that way.
