Where does one get Daedra hearts from anyway?

I don't think they drop until Vet levels. Then they drop from killing Daedra mobs.

If you get daedric gear, and you deconstruct it, there's a chance you get a heart. Last night, guy in my party deconstructed one and I traded 2 honing stones for it (already have over 50, small price to pay for something I haven't gotten yet) only lv 37 right now

You can get Daedra Hearts by deconstructing deadric armor, other wise it does not drop as container loot until Caldwell's Gold.

Or you can buy them in Guild Kiosks which just opened today. Figure around 500 gold each.

Thing is, you need to be L50* and have a Max Material Level in at least one equipment crafting profession to learn the trait in the first place.

*That might have been relaxed, but the material level is still an issue)
