Mic Stops Working

Greetings folks,
I've been getting this annoying issue while playing where my microphone just stops working after a while. It is usually triggered by me zoning (either fast travel, death, or entering a building.) The only way I've figured out to fix it is to relog entirely. I suspect that this might be an issues with my headset, but I hope it isn't.
I submit an in game ticket to hopefully hear back from ZOS, but we'll see what they say. I'm just posting here to see if anyone has experienced this. I did try searching, but couldn't find anything.
My headset is the turtle beach for xbox one gaming headset.
