How to target a NPC (Xbox One)

Is there a target function (e.g. tab keyboard PC version) for the Xbox One version? All the button layouts that I have looked at don't show that there is a button for "Target". So I am assuming you can't. I just would like to confirm....

Searched forums and googled it.

    Doesnt look like softlock/targetting is included for either console version of the game. Coming from pc I was pretty disappointed about it.

    ESO does not use tab-targeting, in any version. Its directional.
    Power level to CP160 in a week:
    Where is the end game? You just played it.
    Why don't I have 300+ skill points? Because you skipped content along the way.
    Where is new content? Sigh.

    Me Too. It is just irritating me that they didn't implement it. For the most part the "softlock" works, but then there are these situation were you really want to lock on to a target.

    What do you mean? You can tab target on the PC.
