I know I saw it somewhere. It listed IC and a few other things that I cannot remember. What were they?

    Just watch E3 2014 footage.

Or wait a few days and watch it all again in the 2015 E3.

Not like ZOS has done anything worthwhile with their time since last E3

6 month waiting period to see if anyone from Console release stuck around then they will release the content they promised last year as pay downloads. Milk you for a bit longer then go into maintenance mode once Fallout 4 is released.

I'm not sure I get how Fallout 4 affects this?

Betheda won't want its titles competing against each other for players. For example, they've staggered ESO \ Fallout releases so players will buy both titles (in addition to evening out development efforts). Game releases are like movie releases in that game companies will try to stagger them even against competitors. It makes people more likely to buy when there's fewer other options (at any point in time), gives them an opportunity to get bored with current offerings, and their advertising dollars go farther.

Well Bethesda isn't competing against itself since it doesn't have anything to do with ESO. Also the release of Fallout 4 shouldn't effect ESO's development team (what's left of it anyway) since they are owned by separate companies.

It does not matter what Bethesda thinks; its what Zenimax media thinks about E3 if they want ESO shown at Bethesda's E3 confrere they will show it there. They are not going to compete against itself if both games are owned by the whole same Parent company they don't care if you buy Fallout 4 or ESO they make money either way.

While I understand that, my post wasn't about what they are going to do at E3. I'm talking about how the release of Fallout 4 shouldn't effect the future development of ESO or any titles under ZOS

Also someone tell me if I am wrong but the marketing teams that put together those presentations would drastically be separate and would not be working together on really anything. Now the sibling company ZOS could ask to have a piece of the time that Betheda would get but it would not be expected.

Also from the information I read said ZOS was going to release new information after E3 at the end of next week.

that is correct do not expect it as ZoS and Bethesda softworks only share bethesda publishing in common.

Wait till the press conference that Bethesda have booked on the first day of E3.
All shall be revealed then ;)

Right. I know Fallout 4 is coming. I don't get how it affects pretty much anything about ESO except maybe competition for exposure and the likely break some players will take when they release it.

I can only talk from my experience and the k ly mmo I have played for a prolonged period of time is dcuo. You're right though, people like who you quoted have been saying similar for year.

Dc has been predicted to die more times than I can count. Skyrim, Destiny, FF:ARR. amongst loads of other titles have all led to 'experts' on the forums saying it will die when X or Y title is released. It hasn't. People will take breaks for games sure but when they have had a month or 2 playing through a single player game, most people go back to dc or games similar. That's the beauty of mmo's. I think people expect to be hooked for 3 solid years. That's naive and no developer will be able to keep its whole player Base online, day after day for years. People will take a break either because a game comes out they want to play, or they have played out the current content or there are a lot of issues but once new content drops or fixes are made, people go back.

I think people's expectations are too high, those who have played this for year and are kicking off need to just take a break and come back, I don't understand why that is such a complicated thing for people to consider. It is possible to play more than 1 game at a time also.
