yeah there is plenty of room for all of us PC and console its just ZoS just open the flood gates and the pc guys are overwhelmed which is understandable. theres a huge flux with console players on the forums now so it gets kinda confuseing im suer after a while they will have a pc and console only. its just hard to navigate through all the new posts thats all. it can be frustrating but everyone has to be patient

It's more than frustrating. All of us have been asking for console-specific forums for their own General Discussion since console beta as we knew this was coming. Just have to wait and see what the GD looks like in a few weeks before ZOS looks into console forums.

I've already posted what I feel like needs to be changed but I'll post it here and delete the other threads I've started....

Before I start saying what's bothering me, let me first say I'm really enjoying the game. I love pc but I'm genuinely having fun on console. You guys did a great job and everyone I pass is talking about how much fun they're having. However, a couple things are really bothering us while playing. For one, not being able to open up your quickslot menu while moving is a really big pain in PvP (and probably PvE). It would be great to be able to open it on the fly and navigate it.

Secondly, it would be awesome to have an auto-run mechanic like maybe double-click the left thumbstick and it would enter auto-run then allowing you to open the map.

The map itself would be awesome if it had a "back" and "forward" mechanic. It takes forever to zoom in/out and then to back out to the zone map/world map. It would be nice if we could click a button to "zoom out" a zone or at least speed up the map zoom feature.

I've also noticed that while in PvP you can see your alliance leaderboard, but not the others. I always like to see how much ap the other alliances have compared to mine/ours. You have the other alliance tabs, but no names under them. Maybe it's something you'll be implementing later.

So, it seems that for console you cannot stack items in the guild bank. On PC I remember having to manually pull everything out and stack them in my inventory and put them back in (until the addons came out for it thank God lol). However, on console you can't do this because you can't stack items in your inventory unless I'm missing something. There's no dragging the item to another item and I've explored the actions tab for items as well and there's split stack but you can't conjoin stacks. I have a 12 player guild on console and the guild bank is already full because there's just tons of (5) iron ore, (3) jute, etc. I understand your reasoning for not automatically stacking items, but could you maybe make it a permission to stack guild bank items so then guild masters could give the access to others.

The only way to get around this as of now is to pull everything out of your guild bank into your inventory. Then take your inventory and place it into your personal bank which will narrow everything down to a single stack that you can then withdraw and place back into the guild bank.

That's really the only complaints I have about the game. I was thoroughly surprised how full the game felt and how great of a job you guys did. I really don't seem to notice much of a difference between PC and console other than the controls and graphics. Hopefully, you can add those features in!

I have no problem with OPTIONAL text chat, and can use a mic properly lol.

What is up with console players names?! It seems like 90% of them have numbers in them whereas PC has almost all lore-friendly names.

A bit of a nit-pick but it's getting irritating.

Pc servers show your characters name. Console servers show your Gamertag/PSN name.

I highly agree, or being able to select which area you want to view instead of having to zoom all the way out to the world, find the appropriate zone, and zoom back in. (Please tell me if this exists and I just didn't catch it - playing PS4)

Yes, guild bank and inventory not stacking is terrible. I'm from PC so I expected the guild bank not to auto stack (ours doesn't either) but at least it stacks in our inventory (and.. I feel like this should be our jingle "there's an add-on for that")

I waited a year for ESO (didn't play PC version), and i must say it is EVERYTHING I hoped it would be. Well, almost everything.

I really, really, really wish there were a text chat-box.

Don't get me wrong, the voice-proximity thing works decently, I mean, if you like hearing people speaking to their kids in languages you don't understand, or hearing not-so-great music playing softly over the game music. I'll admit the switching between various channels (guild, group, etc.) is very fluent and works well. However, it is frustrating trying to put together a group of randoms for some 4 man dungeons when over half of the people queuing don't have mics and/or don't bother even joining the group channel.

I've racked my brain and I cannot figure out WHY this wasn't implemented in the first place. Is ESO for consoles literally the first MMO to not have a text-chat?

One more complaint:

I wish I could see my active buffs/debuffs of myself and my party members on my screen (if I so wish), because it makes things like healing and cleansing more difficult. How do I know when to cleanse anybody??

Just more UI options in general would be nice, since we have no options for mods at all.


Otherwise great game 9.5/10 Definitely my best buy for PS4 so far.

@ Buster42. Hello to you! I have to be honest, no I haven't yet tried fishing, but intend to do so this weekend. I reckon it will be a good idea to get away from the main towns/villages as its the weekend and likely to be busy thus laggy in those places.
I made note of a few quieter spots. So I'll give it a go!

I've been playing on Xbox One since Tuesday, started out with a dragonknight the first two days but tried out an Altmer sorcerer and I like it much better, this game is amazeballs. I agree that graphics are always superior on PC games, and it would be nice to have a chat box, but I personally prefer console gaming. I wish we could all just get along, but that is extremely naive, I suppose. I'm just tickled shitless to be exploring a new E.S. game with the frickin' MAN Jeremy Soule laying down the background music! I do wish the character names were displayed and not the gamertags, however.

I've never had a need to use a chat box? I'm in a guild and we just use party chat so I'm not sure when you would need a box ?

Because i dislike hearing 20 different conversations all at the same time, and thats just the area chat guild chat is far worse in a large guild, i also like the ease of grouping and trading that comes with been able to send a message zone wide. And its kind awkward been able to hear other peoples personal lives over voip.
