Character slots should be the next Crown Store item

I'm tired of terminating my character's existence. The 8 I have now all have a right to live!

Doesn't seem like the most necessary thing. We get 8 slots or so already, which is likely enough for most people.

However. I guess if people were willing to pay for it, then I can't see why not.

In all seriouness, I agree. I'd pay crowns for more character slots. I think I'd be satisfied with a max of 12 slots so you can have 4 characters in each faction and experience all they have to offer.

Character slots and bank space are the items I would whip out ye ole credit card to purchase. That's about it.

No. The next crown store item should be new zone DLC.

Characters slots are good too, but nowhere near as needed.

I have 7 v14s and one v11 who will probably be maxed out within a week. So yeah, I'm ready for new slots.

This is why I have 3 accounts. There are just so many ways to play characters I don't want to delete them or respec them to try something new. I want them all!!!!

Hmm... I hadn't thought of that. $60 for 8 more slots... could be a better deal. I'll have to think about that

What an odd notion.. technically nothing but the bare minimum of anything is NECESSARY, but then we aren't talking necessary were talking WANTED.

Some people like one character, others like MANY.. that people are called Alt-ists. I am an Alt-ist I would like to have as many characters as I choose to buy slots to have. Doing so would not impact on balance or anyone else's enjoyment etc.. heck pretty much EVERY game that isn't purely sub based (and many of those do too) allow you to buy more character slots these days.

not just 8 slots... another bank, 5 more auction guilds and the ability to dump your inventory mid dungeon by mass-mailing yourself.....

I think the most important reason to be able to add a few more alt slots would be so you can have one of each race. I would love to have one or two extra to try out new builds as well. But being able to have 10 permanent residents representing the 10 races in Tamriel seems like a no-brainer.

Yes to more character slots and bank space. I have 6 characters I simply couldn't part with, plus one mule and only one slot left. I like to experiment with character builds and one slot is a bit tricky sometimes.

This should be quite easy to add to the game (and the shop), so why not. Most of the games with Shop does this, and it doesn't ruin other people's game, it just affects the altoholic...

Would be a great addition to the Shop, although I personally wouldn't need that option. I like to have only one character, afterall....

Doesn't really matter to me, just hope the pricing isn't so ridiculous...it just looks like instead of making the game better your just making money off gamers.

I personally have no need for more character slots, but I know it's a really big deal to a lot of people. I'd be cool with that being offered in the Crown Store. Seems like an easy way for Zeni to make money.

No, they not only should not, but must not. With they way things like writs, hirelings or dailies work, alts can and are used to bypass in-build limits to get rewards. If ZOS started selling character slots, players could use cash to buy more alts to get more rewards, effectively indulging in P2W scheme by paying in cash for rewards.
