NB and Sorc's do have to rely on surprise and the ability to escape a fight if they're caught off-guard. DK's and Temp's are a bit stronger in a stand up fight but don't have much going for them in the surprise/escape game.
EDIT: TL;DR - There are no gimped classes, only gimped builds. Tamrielfoundry.com has lots of great builds posted in the forums there, find one you like.

Which class after endlessly grinding to earn cp will I see the most benefit from whether it be pve or pvp I don't want to spend all my time on a gimped class just to find out I have a million cp and I'm still gimped. And to those still saying I'm asking what is the best class, I'm not. If were I'd ask more in the time of " what class can I level and *** *** up with without dying and least effort" nope. Simply asking what class will I least be dissapointed with after accumulating a lot of cps from those with experience.. And like I said before not which I most enjoy because I honestly enjoy all classes and play styles but if the class I pick is somehow gimped in what I enjouly doing the most (PvP) then I will not enjoy it any longer therefore I am asking opinions of those who have leveled and experienced in that aspect. Thanks

this is an irrelevant question. re-read what someone has already answered above.
your choice of Class in retrospect to Champion Point accumulation is irrelevant. The Champion Points are accountwide, not character-centric. So as an example - Let's say you build a DK like me that's now VR14 and you have all the Champion Points allocated to feats in the skill trees and you still find your character isn't performing quite as well as you would like in PvP - You adjust their skills/gear to fine tune it - Reallocating your Champion Points won't do a great deal at all (OK it'll make some difference but not as much as a skill / gear respect).
If you find you can't get the combination you like and the class is disappointing - Reroll another toon in a different class. Every champion point you have earned with the DK, is available right from the beginning with your new character - you don't need to be VR on that toon to assign them. Level your character up as normal.

For example, Sorcs have been strong for a bit now and everyone is rolling a Sorc, but pretty soon they are probably going to take a Blizzard style nerf bat(see thread about gear set that hits shielded people harder.) Shields will probably be nerfed again in general to go along with that gear set.
The best long term investment is the DK.

Thank you that is a helpful answer . I think I will start a dk first as it seems to be the class I can't go wrong with.

Yup and like the poster above said, the champion system is universal. This game is more alt friendly than any other MMO you will play. That will be even more so with the XP potions next week. So, if you don't like your DK, you can easily transition to another class without losing anything.

Thank you . And just to be clear, I can earn 50 CP's on my vr 14 dk and if I don't like it start a level 1 night blade and have 50 cp on my night blade right at level 1 ??
