Hit 15 and no weapon swap?

Playing a healer and just hit level 15. I need that weapon swap. I got the prompt and everything, playing on PS4 it said left Dpad but there is nothing showing up, no little half circle with the arrow, nothing ?????????????????????????????? Do I need to do something else?

You need to open your inventory and equiped a second weapon in the new slot, once you have done that you tap left on the dpad to quickswap your weapons

I think that is any easy mistake to make. I will probly still make this mistake lol.
