NO DUNGEON BOSS LOOT

i have done 3 dungeons with over 10 bosses combined and not one of the has dropped any loot, i play with my friends and they get loot from every boss, PLEASE HELP

You might not be dealing enough damage to the boss for the game to register that you are participating and deserve loot.

Happens to me sometimes when I play on my healer.

Your overleveled for the dungeon, so it doesn't give you loot, try making a person leader who is within 5 levels of your level to get loot, loot is scaled to the group leader, unless they are higher level, then it scales to you

FYI, drop loot from bosses, especially in low levels, isn't worth diddly.

What is your level relative to the boss?

Are there other players also dealing damage?

Yes, as well, are you within 5 levels of the mobs? If not, that could be why.

I'm going to mess this up, but I'm sure someone will come and perfect it for you..

If you're 5 (or more) levels above the mob level - you won't get xp/loot
If you're 5 or more levels below the mob level - you better be doing INTENSE damage.. or you won't get xp/loot

This goes away in VR, something they just changed last week actually

As well, are you aware that group (4 man) dungeons scale to whatever level the group leader is at the time when you enter the dungeon?

First start by telling us what level you are? and the level of the ppl you were group with? were you dps, tank or healer?

Loot/EXP Rules

(1) If the NPC's your killing are 5 levels above your level, or 5 level below your level you will get no loot and little exp
(2) If your in a group and you do not do 8% of the damage, you will get not loot or exp
(except if your in a vet instanced dungeon)
(except if you heal for 25% of the total heal of the mob)

Im a lvl 18 sorcerer and the group leader was a lvl 12 so im 6 lvl higher the mobs, so the group leader has to be 5 lvls within me to if i want loot and xp??

Yup, that was the problem
Only applies in NON veteran dungeons. Veteran dungeons you can be v1-v14 and still get loot no matter the difference in vet level.

Yes. It means you're 'carrying' the lower level toons. This is to prevent high level characters from 'farming' low level dungeons for gear/loot/etc. It's too easy for them - no challenge - so no reward.

It's not specifically that the group leader needs to be within 5 levels of you: it's that the enemies need to be within 5 levels of you. Of course, for group dungeons the enemies are scaled to the level of the group leader, so it amounts to much the same thing.
