Strongest 1 hit skill in the game? (non-ultimate)

Each class has a skill that is hard hitting:

Templar - Dark Flare (morph of Solar Flare)
Sorcerer - Crystal Fragments
Dragonknight - Molten Whip (morph of Lava Whip)
Nightblade - Ambush (morph of Teleport Strike)

Other skills are in a weapons skill line (any class can use):

2 Handed Weapon - Wreaking Blow (morph of Uppercut and this ability is multiplied in stealth)
Bow - Lethal Arrow (morph of Snipe and this ability is multiplied in stealth)

Not all of these abilities compare in damage to each other, but all of them can put out some pretty sick damage.

Nightblade's hardest hitting ability is actually veiled strike (Concealed Weapon/Surprise Attach are the morphs)

As a magicka NB I use Concealed Weapon but I would assume Surprise Attack (Based off of stamina / weapon damage) has the same back-end damage modifiers as it's magicka counterpart.

I'm surprised no one is mentioning Assassin's Blade. On low enemies, with everything scaled into Magicka/Stamina, it's doing more than some Ultimate's damage, spam-ably. You can pop cloak before using it to crit it 100% of the time.

From stealth, yes, Veiled will do more, only once per "in combat", though.

Merciless resolve (grim morph) isnt a bigger damage than everything else? (although need to be built with 7 light attacks before it procs)

for a direct hit... surprise attack is the biggest hit from NB, not ambush.

The current emp on chill hit me for 29k with proximity detenation a couple of days ago.

Not a class or weapon skill but it's the highest damage I've ever taken from one hit in PvP.

Obviously an execution ability will do more damage (And same thing is applicable of the same ability from stealth vs unstealthed). I think the user was just looking for non-execute abilities.

ACK! I knew I picked the wrong morph.. loved that until I pick the wrong morph and it totally changed how the skill was I'm too cheap to respec... lol

the AOE morph was fun and useful until i leveled destro staff.

for my NB, surprise attack has to be the hardest hitting class skill. but get wreckt blow has to be the most consistent heavy hitter out there.

Solar Barrgae (other morph of Solar Flare is a great AoE for leveling your Templar until you get your Spear Shard ability which will be a better AoE. At that point you will def want to respect to get Dark Flare as that will be you best single target ability you have as a Templar.

I think the OP was looking at Non Ultimate's and possibly Non Executes. Most executes by their nature are hard hitting. lol
