Cannot join/enter campaign

Whenever I try to join the Azura's Star campaign I get stuck on a black screen for a whole minute with music playing but nothing else. Then it returns me to the title screen saying "Unable to connect to game server. Please check you have a valid internet connection."
There isn't anything wrong with my internet or wifi connection, it never drops while I try joining. Sometime's the campaign stats will be there but other times all the values will be zero and says "Campaign Ends: Done" as if it's already finished.
