Tips on first quests

Just starting out, still in my rags! Could do with some armour!

Anyways, which quests would you suggest to take first in Davons Watch?

    None!

Well, kind of none. The first quest you should take is the one given to you by the Nord quest giver just outside where you woke up. He'll give you a quest to go to a boat at the docks that will take you to Bleakrock Isle.

DO THAT BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING IN DAVON'S WATCH OR STONEFALLS!

Bleakrock Isle and Bal Foyen (which you'll get to after doing everything on Bleakrock Isle) are the starter zones for Ebonheart Pact. They're designed for a brand new character just out of Coldharbour. They introduce the EP storyline, they're intended for your level, they teach you some common questing mechanics (like using a disguise), they give you valuable XP (by the time you've completed everything in both starter zones you should be about level 8), they give you achievements, and they give you 2 skill points worth of sky shards.

When you complete the main questline of Bleakrock (and try to explore everywhere there before you finish it, and do any side quests you come across), the final part of that questline will lead you to Bal Foyen. When you complete the main questline of Bal Foyen (and again, try to explore everywhere there too, and do any side quests you come across), the final part of that questline will lead you back to Davon's Watch.

Then, and only then, should you start doing Davon's Watch quests.

Unfortunately, it's not intuitive that this is the order you're supposed to do these things in. In Beta you actually woke up on your first starter island, but some idiots complained about that and ZOS made a big mistake and listened to them, so they changed it before launch. Now people like you (and me back on launch day for PC) don't know what we're intended to do immediately after the intro/tutorial, and are left feeling lost.
