logging in

Is there a trick or someway to log in? I have been sitting on the log screen for over 2 hours.

I just want to play. How does one get in and actually play. You know, create a character, explore, have fun?

I got in after a couple of minutes, but while on the queue it said I was like 329648(rough number) in the queue. So yeah. But, I was able to get in and I also have my Xbox running on Ethernet, and my NAT is open. Not sure if this has anything to do with why I was able to get in fast. Besides those two options, I'm not sure what else to suggest besides wait till we get an update from the News section about this issue. Even if you do get in, it's pretty laggy, with some bad response times.

there should be another option when you see the message of the day to play on the selected server. once you do that then you will see the character select/creation screen. not sure why its not getting past that screen but maybe you should try closing the game from the dashboard and opening it again.

I had the same issue but after being stubborn for 30 minutes, I inched my sign up by pressing A repeatedly. The log in seems to have cleared up on the second day however, I kinda feel bad for the programmers who are having to patch this game right now... kinda hurts my nerd to think about it

I picked the EU server last night and got in immediately. I also played for hours with no problems. I wouldn't recommend that tho because your character will be stuck on the EU server forever.

Same problem. I try for a few hours and the message keeps flashing. Stop take a break, three more hours at the loading screen....Unusually Long. At least I get a lot of things done around the house as I check to see if I can play.

Haha my position in que keeps on changing. 1 to 79634 to 1 back to 29452. I don't think the que means anything. Epic fail on servers.

This sucks stuck in a broken queue system and since launch I've played an hour because I can't get in the game. Seriously can you please fix your servers.

did you preload? i got the CD for the game and it let me log in fine about an hour and a half ago. if you preloaded, i would probably delete the install and try downloading it again. if i ever get login failed or any other message, i just back out and try again. has been working for me the last 10 times i logged in

Have only been able to play this game once since ive owned it lmao , almost want a refund for how rediculous its gottin

I have been trying to long in for the past 2 days for 4-5 hours at a time. All I get is error code 301.I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, Ethernet is hooked to my Xbox, and my two roommates are able to play on their Xboxes so I know it's not an Internet issue. Haven't been able to figure out the problem or even find another person with the same issue. Are any of you having this problem?

I'm getting this, too, now. Numbers are different, but generally flipping between 1, and two other numbers, sometimes they change...flips about EVERY 5 seconds. 737393 was one of the number of my place in the queue!

I'm trying to get on North America servers.

While I'm eager to play, I know what project startups can be like. (Keep working on it!!! THANKS!)

Speaking of the queue, I've been waiting in them for 30 minutes at a time, finally get in, play for 5 minutes then get kicked. Repeat the process over and over. So glad I preordered and doenloaded early to sit in a queue.

So every time I try to log in I get to the log in que than a second later it gives me the internal error message.. Any suggestions?

Well, when you think about it, it's not a startup. They launched it on PC, right? So, they should have the operating side down no problem. It doesn't take a genius to realize that they should have spent more time making sure the servers were able to handle the load.

Since Launch day I have zero issues playing between 0700 - 1PM PST. After 1PM, its a total different story...Login with long waits, Error codes (excessive messages?), check your internet connection, system crashes etc. Not sure if the game time change will help you, but it works for me

They pushed the launch back twice. I think an extra year and a half is ample time to figure it out. Plus they were having these issues during beta, the problem is not new. If they don't fix it soon it will be a flop bc people will move on to something else. (ie halo master chief edition)

you can look at the link in red above, it reads like this is something that just happened, not a problem for console users all day. Then you think, "what can they say but we are on it and trying" and give the staff time to work.

So still can't get in on the American server. What is the secret to being able to play this game? Do I need to pay extra because I just paid 60.00 for maybe 2 hrs of gameplay since launch. If you can't fix the issue at least allow people to move characters between the European and American servers, so people can actually play the flipping game.
