Area Chat...really can't understand how this was overlooked

Please for all that is decent, make it so i can keep area chat off at all times, every-time, all day, all night. I am sick of hearing these racist, bigoted people blurting nonsense over my speakers because each time i zone the area chat is on again. If there is an an option already, I can't find it. i only need group and guild chat.
