Is New Content News being Held till E3?

As many of us know or [hopefully know] E3 is right around the corner. With it starting this Sunday with Bethesda's announcements and showing off of different things i.e. Fallout4 and some doom aspects, Could they be holding out on information about content update 7 until they talk about Elder Scrolls?

I have reasonably had the idea; that maybe they are not making a road ahead or giving "updates" about what they now currently working on.Besides the obvious Console patches and imperial city. Since it would be a lot easier to announce major content/DLC's at conference with a lot more people watching or hearing about these updates on streams and podcast which makes a larger focus point, then just there website/Facebook/twitter. Which in return makes more money.
So if ZOS or Bethesda are planing on doing this.
I say well played.

The thing is, anything announced at E3 is bologna and buzz words and pure marketing to sell more boxes on consoles. We still don't have nearly half of what was announce at E3 2014.

Announcements are just that, announcements. They don't really hold much weight around here until they start delivering on them.

Things I want at the Bethesda press conference on Sunday:

    1) Fallout 4 coming this fall, will have optional coop play.
    2) New Doom is not going to be a hall-runner like the last one.
    3) Dishonored 2 being worked on
    4) ESO Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood coming by Christmas.
    5) Pallmor named new Zenimax CEO

Not necessarily in that order, of course. ;-)

At this point I'm only trying to find out what's being worked on and what's not? Spellcrafting seems like a pipe dream that's for sure. IF ZoS can release all of the content that's been shown thus far within a year from consoles I might forgive them completely, but I really want to know if "New" content is being worked on and not stuff that has been shown already or crown store items.

ZoS has a lot of making up to do and now with consoles released there are no more excuses, we need endgame content and not stuff that will make level 1 to veteran rank 14 a better experience. We PC players are past that point already months ago. The Justice system and champion system were the latter and is why most people logged on tried them for a week or so and got frustrated with the even bigger grind ahead that is the Champion system without content to grind on

I get the feeling content is being held back for marketing reasons. I can see them trying to release content every 2-3 months just to keep to that console schedule of releasing DLC. Not to mention most people won't want to pay for DLC right away if it could technically have made it on the game before launch, and now, DLC is either bought or subscribed to.

They have to hold new content release information to have something to talk about at E3.

They haven't fixed the game lag for PVE and PVP that NOW Console players are reporting.

They have nothing to talk about at E3 for ESO OTHER than new content they are going to be adding. Unless they are planning to Re-Demo the 3v3v3 Arena they did last year that STILL ISN'T IN THE GAME.....

Look, man, I /pizza'd one time in my life... and EQ2 made the horrible mistake of linking up with Pizza Hut. Never again. Still recovering from that awful, awful food a decade later. =P

I just want them to post a Khajiitified version of the patch notes. "This one fixed a bug causing which allowed players to warp into enemy keeps. Gina does not know why this kittenheaded mistake happened, but it is fixed now. Fight on, Five-claws!"

EDIT: Actually... @ZOS_GinaBruno, CAN we get a copy of the next patch notes officially Khajiiitified? Post the regular notes, then link to the second one. Because how can you not? =D It'd be the best thing ever.

I don't believe that new content comes.
They will chnage some minor things here and there and will
make promises. But there will be ... ahh ever more urgent things to do while they
sale the game to as many customers they can.

Bethesda will never add any Online features to their games, so keep dreaming about co-op.

I wouldn't be surprised if Zenimax releases Fallout Online in the next 5 years.
They are responsible for creating online games, bethesda won't undermine that.

Never say never, Bethesda doesn't really want online stuff themselves but if Zenimax Media Inc keeps pushing them for co-op or something I would not be surprised.

Look at Bioware's Dragon Age: Inquisition. It has Multiplayer co-op settings because EA wanted that.

Well I don't think we'll see Fallout MMO.
I'd say it will be probably something similar to Destiny (which is more of a Co-op I believe).
However I still expect it to be developed by Zenimax Online.

    You're missing a company, actually.

Bethesda Game Studios is a developer. They developed/are developing Fallout 3, ES III, IV, and V, and Fallout 4 (New Vegas was developed by Obsidian).

Bethesda Softworks is a publisher that published all of the above, including New Vegas, and also published ESO, which was developed by ZOS

All the above are part of the master parent company Zenimax Media.

Edit: I didn't finish my thought. oops. With all that said, I do think we well see ESO stuff at E3 no doubt. Whether it's a rehash of what we already know, we'll see. But Soon TM!

Bethesda is the ESO publisher (along with Doom, Dishonored, etc.). And the guy behind the press conference is Pete Hines, who does press for all of Zenimax's companies. So, yes ESO will be talked about. It's just a question of how much time they'll get and what they'll say.

The two most important DLC's that need to be added are: Imperial City AND Mephala's Realm (Assuming this is a Trial). Prioritize these two things to save your game ZoS!! Keeping it short and sweet for you here.

From what I've seen on the forums, the console release is having more problems then PC release did over a year ago. So I don't think we'll hear any annoucement about new content other then the infamous "soon" we usually get.

Fallout 4 will most likely be the only worthwhile thing of note come Sunday given how far down the list some other things seam, expect the new content to get off hand mentions and little else has is normal

They have been working on the imperial city for a few months now, and all we get is working on it has comments and so on, don't expect that to change soon.

But will be happy if dishonored 2 gets more focus then Elder Scrolls online but we will see.
