Anyone else finding it a very slow leveling process on the consol? Or does it just feel long for me for some reason..

If you're new to the game entirely, just take your time. Make sure you went to the starter islands for your faction (that's different from the city they drop you in) start your crafting, make sure you get all the skyshards, Lorebooks and exploration points in each zone. World bosses, dolmens (dark anchors) and random encounters are everywhere. You'll find plenty of xp.

Don't be in a rush, you'll only get to enjoy your first time through once :)

Way back when I started my first character I too thought it was slow going at first. After going through it multiple times I realized this was attributed to not knowing how to move it along faster, where to focus time and energy, and generally just being confused with the order of quests and the likes.

Hang in there...it will begin to pick up. Don't skip mobs while doing quests either or you will significantly slow your progress.

It's taking me a while (only just hit 10) but I'm prone to wandering off here there and everywhere, also spent a while yesterday getting to grips with crafting. It is mainly because I am running around the map a lot instead of strictly following missions. I'm pretty happy with casually making my way through the game. Plus, several people I know will be getting the game in a couple weeks so there's no rush to blitz through for me.

I played from 4pm to midnight and only got to level 10. I'm new to the game so is that considered slow ?

Since this isn't Skyrim Online, randomly wandering around will definitely lengthen the leveling process.

I don't think so. I mean I could probably do it a lot quicker but I've gone through everything 4 or 5 times now but the first time I really enjoyed taking my time. I still kinda do. What's your rush?

No rush at all. I was just wondering if it was slow. I actually enjoy that it's taking a while to level. Makes the game more interesting, and also it makes the game last longer in the future of things. Unlike other mmos where you can legit jump to max level in the blink of an eye. You know?

If you're taking your time and doing everything thoroughly, I think it's supposed to take about 50 hours to get to Level 50. You can make it go faster if you grind through mobs and quests without reading the content, but for me, the story is what makes an Elder Scrolls game, so I wasn't trying to rush it. I just got my third character to 50 yesterday on PC, and I've been playing since last year.

This just seems like you're trolling to post the lowest number humanly possible. By all means rub your number in the new guys faces but the average even for grinding is more like 20-24 hrs of gameplay
