Loyalty rewards and consoles

I believe i should have my loyalty rewards on console. Yes, due to heavy RL obligations i did miss the 30 day window for transfer and that's fine i have to start over.. no problem's at all there, but can ZoE or someone explain why my loyalty rewards, which were unlocked for being a loyal ESO supporter since day 1, aren't tied to my account to?

Maybe this is an oversight that will be fixed, or rectified if and when they allow paid transfers... but i don't think it's fair that i earned those loyalty rewards and can't use them on the SAME account, due to a different platform. I earned those pets and that tiger mount by being loyal, i wholeheartedly think i should have them on console as well since it's the same account. It isn't hurting anyone for those who've already earned it on PC, to have access to their own pets/mount on console regardless of the character transfer.

Please, ZoE... fix this huge oversight and allow those of us who've earned those loyalty rewards by sticking with you the ability to use our own hard earned rewards on console.

I would like to see this too. Even though I told a few friends to get it done when it was offered they didn't. Now they would love to do it now and really don't care about 60 bucks but they don't want to re-level through the VR ranks. Which I can't blame them. A paid transfer would be good. Lots of ways to make money here that ZoE seems to be missing.

Did you do a forum search for another thread? I say this because there were other threads like this and I'm pretty sure there was already a response.

The only thing i saw was related to transfers. I have no problem starting over since i missed the window to transfer my main, but there is NO REASON AT ALL my loyalty rewards for sticking with ESO shouldn't be tied into my account on console as well. it's the same account. I can roll a new toon on PC and get the rewards, i should have the same rewards on console since it's the same account. It makes no sense and just feels like a bad oversight, and i'd hope that ZoE would fix this for those of us who just want our loyalty rewards that we earned, by sticking with ESO since day 1. I earned those rewards, why shouldn't i be able to access them on whichever platform i desire?

And the game not being linked would fly for the reason why i can't just pick up and play my main PC character, since i admit i missed the transfer window due to RL issues (family health, and moving)...

BUT the actual loyalty rewards for sticking with ESO through it's first year are tied to the account, not the character in question. I can roll new toons on PC and receive the pets and tiger mount no problem, i think i should be able to access my loyalty rewards on console as well. It wouldn't hurt anyone, the code is already there, and most importantly myself and players like me legit EARNED those loyalty rewards. Doesn't seem very loyal of ESO to punish us for switching platforms. I think they should let us have our loyalty rewards, they are ours after all.

i'd gladly open my wallet for a character transfer to rectify this oversight on ZoE's part. The loyalty rewards are supposed to be tied to the account, not the actual platform or character in question. If i can roll a new toon on PC and receive the loyalty rewards, there is no logical reason why my same account shouldn't have the same rewards on either xb1 or ps4. Those rewards were earned by my account, not by a particular character.

why not? They are the same account and linked at the hip. there's zero reason why it couldn't happen. None at all.

at the very least they should allow transfers, paid or otherwise, so that those of us who've earned our loyalty rewards aren't forever kept away from the goodies that we rightfully earned.

I think I mentioned this somewhere else, but @coryevans_3b14_ESO is mostly right. The relevant parts of the accounts are separate; the ESO account only serves to tell the XB1/PS4 accounts how to get into the game. All bonuses and benefits for an account are tied to the platform that account is on - the ESO account for PC, the XBL account for XB1, and the PSN account for PS4. This is shown by how Crowns and ESO Plus work on console; they are bought from the XBL Marketplace and PSN Store, rather than the Store on the ESO website. The XBL and PSN accounts don't know what bonuses are on the PC account, because their only interaction with it is sever access.

Well that sounds like an oversight Enodoc and something that could easily be corrected since it's the same account. I desperately hope they open up platform transfers, even if i have to pay. I earned those loyalty rewards and feel like i should have access to them regardless of platform as long as it was the same account.

In the end/somewhere down the line, they may. Perhaps they had issues in the background when transferring players from PC to console. I would logically assume that if they learn/develop a way to easily streamline this like WOW, they will definitely sell it on the Crown Store.

no you did not pay for the game when it was crap now that its good and you get eso plus you do not deserve it i would probably leave eso for a week or two if this happened

Being that you didn't have your characters copied over and as a result bought a new game you are, however unfortunate, starting a "new" game. Hence no loyalty rewards for your other game. Their is no link between the two.

You obviously didn't read the thread at all. I not only payed for the game since day 1 on PC, but i continue to pay for it on PC as well. I'm a loyal supporter since day 1, and i've EARNED those loyalty rewards on my account because I've never stopped supporting this game. I just don't think it's fair that because i missed the 30 day window for a transfer, that i shouldn't have access to the rewards my account earned for loyalty that have nothing to do with character X. Not only have I remained loyal to ESO since pre-beta, but i continue to be and should have access to the loyalty rewards that i've already earned for being a supporter through everything.

It is rather unfortunate that you could not spend 5 mins to check an email. My mother was recovering from a surgery related seizure and I helped my sister in law move after her husband went to jail. During the 30day window. Yet I still spared 5 mins to check email, click link, and buy preorder. Kaw :v

Well I am sorry you missed it BUT.... (and its a Big One)

I didn't miss it, I wasn't even gonna go to Console (PS4) but I decided that $20 was not too much money and I decided to do it just in case I wanted play on Console with My Console friends and I was aware of the Cutoff date, I made sure I knew of it, and I have been with the game since early access day one.. I made sure I got mine transferred, as in, I took responsibility to make sure It happened...

BUT you did not...

My advise to you is if it was Sooo important to you then you should have made Sure you knew When it was gonna happen and Where you had to go to pay and What the cutoff date was for the "PC to Console Transfer", then you would have made sure you paid the money and got it done.

It is now time to grow a little and act like an adult and take responsibility for your actions or Lack thereof instead of crying about it, you did not follow through and so now you do not get the Transfer or the Loyalty items that go with it.

Next time you will be more aware and you will get it done if something is so important to you now, wont you...

And I am sorry if this offends some people, but I am sick and tired of people crying and whining when it was their responsibility to take advantage of the offer ZOS was giving them. You want something...be responsible and do it..

I have to agree big time. It seems to be a sense of entitlement like the younger generation seems to have that regardless of their choices or inaction they should still have it all.

spare me the pomposity. The only posters reeking of entitlement are you two with your "i'm a special snowflake because i remembered and you didn't". I was dealing with more serious issues then either of you RL, and it happened to slip past me. On top of that i wasn't 100% sure of which platform my friend's were going as they were undecided.

Their is no reason at all that players like myself who EARNED the loyalty rewards just as much as you or anyone shouldn't have complete access to them regardless of platform. Sure, i missed the server transfer and shouldn't get a free character transfer because of that, i totally take responsibility for my actions... but my loyalty rewards should be tied to my account and not to a particular platform. It shouldn't make a difference which platform i'm on, it's the same account and i earned those loyalty rewards as much as any other person playing ESO. ESO shouldn't punish me for my continued loyalty and support.

Sure there is, I and many others followed the rules ZOS set up for us so we could get our Characters and such transfered and we then followed those rules and then paid for it and now we have it.

Now your just acting badly, I am sorry you had RL issues, but that is not ZOS's fault or especially ours, that was yours to contend with..and though I might feel sorry for you, when you start acting like you are entitled to it, that just makes me mad.

Let me give you a really good example, I only did the PC Console transfer to the PS4, I did not do it for the Xbox one, now if one of my friends was like "I'm going to the Xbone, you coming.."

I would be like, nope because I didn't purchase it when I had the chance, I did not take the responsibility to get my characters and loyalty rewards and such to be transfered to that console. I would be disappointed and sad but I know that the responsibility laid on my shoulders to do it, not someone else's or ZOS's fault and so that is the choices we make in life.

Do I feel entitled that I earned it, not on the Xbox One.

Like I said before, Take Responsibility for your actions and stop laying blame, because the blame is all on you.
